Pagefond is made and run by Vidit Chopra, an independent developer in India, trading as GlobalInno Services (“we”). Pagefond helps readers keep short passages from books they read, with the book and author always named. Public links carry at most 600 characters of a book; Page receipts and quote images are shared by readers from their own phones and are not hosted by us. If a public link on pagefond.vercel.app uses your work without permission, tell us and we will act quickly.
Sending a notice
Email contact.techfusionlab@gmail.com with the subject “Copyright notice” and include:
- the public link or links (pagefond.vercel.app/s/…);
- the work you own or represent (title, author, edition);
- your name, contact details, and your relationship to the work;
- a statement that you believe in good faith the use isn't authorised, and that your notice is accurate.
You can also use “Report this story” on the link's page, which hides it at once while we review.
What happens next
We acknowledge every notice within 24 hours and close the link within 24 hours of a valid notice. A closed link stops working for everyone at once.
If your link was closed
If you published the link and believe the notice was a mistake, or you have permission, email contact.techfusionlab@gmail.com with the subject “Copyright counter-notice”, the link, why you believe the use is allowed, and your contact details. We pass the counter-notice to the person who sent the notice and may restore the link if the claim is withdrawn or not pursued.
Repeat infringement
An account whose links are closed after valid notices more than twice can no longer publish public links. Reading, keeping passages and sharing from the phone are not affected.
