Delete your account.
Pagefond is operated by TechFusion Lab. You can request deletion of your account and associated cloud data without installing or signing in to the app. Export anything you want to keep before requesting deletion.
Request deletion by email
Email a Pagefond account deletion request to contact.techfusionlab@gmail.com. Use the subject “Delete my Pagefond account” and include the email address associated with Pagefond and whether you signed in with email, Google or Apple. If possible, send the request from your account email. For Apple Hide My Email, include your Pagefond relay address if you know it.
Support must verify that the account belongs to you before processing the request. Do not send passwords, verification codes, book photographs or private notes. Opening the email link does not submit a request: send the email from your mail app. If the link does not open, copy the address above into your email service.
Delete from the app
Open Settings → Delete account and cloud data, then follow the confirmation steps. Apple accounts require confirmation with the connected Apple account on iPhone to revoke its authorization. If an upload or generation is finishing, the app may ask you to retry when it settles. You can still use the email request above if you cannot access the app.
Delete selected data and keep your account
You can delete selected passages and books in Pagefond, revoke public story links, or delete optional usage data in Settings. For help removing selected cloud data, email contact.techfusionlab@gmail.com with the subject “Delete selected Pagefond data”. State your account email and which books, passages, artwork or usage data you want removed. We verify account ownership before acting. Your sign-in account and data you did not select remain. The security, report and provider retention limits below still apply. Do not send your password or private passages.
What deletion removes
Account deletion removes your Firebase sign-in account, cloud library records, synced photographs and generated artwork, account generation records and optional usage events. It also removes your Pagefond public story links. Your cloud library includes books, saved passages, thoughts, bookmarks, collections and recall cards.
What can remain
A minimal security record containing your account identifier, deletion status and deletion date remains to prevent use of the deleted account. That record expires after 30 days. Safety reports are maintained separately, with a 180-day expiry; resolved story reports expire 90 days after review. Daily maintenance removes expired records in bounded batches, so removal can follow expiry. Limited abuse-prevention records, such as hashed request identifiers and request counts, are also stored separately.
Offline copies on other devices, files you exported and copies shared or saved by other people are not remotely erased. Clear local Pagefond data on those devices separately. A beta-access request is separate from an app account; tell support if you also want that request removed. Cancel any active App Store or Google Play subscription separately.
Vercel runtime logs have a 30-day retention window. Firebase states that deleted authentication data is removed from live and backup systems within 180 days. Provider security records, AI processing records and recovery copies follow their applicable retention terms. Deletion does not instantly erase every provider-held copy. See our privacy policy.
