How to save quotes from a physical book
Photograph the page, highlight the words you want, confirm the source and keep the passage in your own collection.
- Open Keep a passage and take a clear photograph with the page lying as flat as possible.
- Move and zoom the photo, then switch to highlighting and mark the words. Undo and Clear let you adjust the selection.
- Review the text against the page. OCR can misread letters and numbers; you remain the editor.
- Confirm the remembered book or identify a new one from its cover. A page number and your own thought are optional.
- Save. The passage belongs to the book and can become a recall card or artwork.
Do I need an account to capture a book quote?
