YOUR WORDS, WORTH KEEPING

How to return to book highlights without a study backlog

Use a small quote reveal for enjoyment, or an optional source-linked recall card when you want to remember an idea.

  1. Keep a passage and add what it meant to you, if you like.
  2. Visit Revisit for a small selection of saved passages. Reveal the quote before seeing your own thought and source.
  3. For a concept, create and review a question-and-answer or cloze card. AI drafts require your approval.
  4. Set a daily recall limit, pause a book or skip a card. Reading does not need a perfect streak.
  5. Follow the source link whenever you want the original context.

Is spaced repetition useful for every quote?

Active recall suits ideas you want to explain or use. Favorite literary lines can simply reappear for pleasure. The app keeps those two experiences separate; it does not promise a measured memory improvement.
