YOUR WORDS, WORTH KEEPING

Import Kindle highlights from My Clippings

Bring an annotation snapshot into your library using My Clippings.txt or the documented CSV format.

  1. Copy your own My Clippings.txt from a supported Kindle device, or prepare a compatible annotation CSV.
  2. Sign in and open Import highlights. Choose a file under 3 MB, with at most 1,500 annotations for one beta import.
  3. Review the preview, warnings and source locations. Choose the correct existing edition or repair the title and author.
  4. Keep the selected records. Notes and bookmarks retain their own types.
  5. Use the original book or Kindle location when checking the source. A clipping file can be incomplete or contain publisher-limited excerpts.

Does this sync my entire Kindle purchase library?

No. This is an annotation-file snapshot, not live Kindle sync, purchase history, or full ebook import. The app never asks for your Amazon password. You can still add a book manually.
